I am a rising junior at Princeton University pursuing a Bachelors of Arts in Philosophy with a certificate in Statistics and Machine Learning. I am highly passionate about education: during the academic year, I serve as a volunteer tutor for the Petey Greene Program, which provides educational assistance to those incarcerated in New Jersey prisons; after graduation, I hope to work toward becoming a high school mathematics teacher. My area of specialty is mathematics, ranging anywhere from basic fractions to Calculus 2. I also have experience in test prep, including two years of serving as an AP US History tutor, and am fluent in Mandarin Chinese. My hobbies include reading, running, and DJing. I love talking about popular music and, more generally, having conversations. As a tutor, I work to create a relationship with my students that is comfortable and friendly while also professional; I want my students to feel as if they can communicate openly with me about their inhibitions, and to understand that I am genuinely invested in their educational success.
