From the moment I first watched Shark Week as a little girl, I was captivated by the power and mystery of the ocean, especially its apex predators—sharks. What began as a childhood fascination quickly grew into a deep intellectual curiosity about these remarkable creatures and the marine ecosystems they inhabit. Watching documentaries on their behavior, adaptations, and role in ocean ecosystems ignited countless questions and an unrelenting desire to learn more. This passion for sharks and the ocean as a whole has not only fueled my academic pursuits but has also shaped my dream of becoming a marine scientist.
The vastness of the ocean—most of which remains unexplored—sparks my imagination and inspires me to uncover its secrets. Sharks, in particular, have become a symbol of my curiosity and commitment to marine science.
