"Thinking outside of the box" by Yulissa - October 2018 Scholarship Essay

Although thinking outside of the box is known to be a simple outstanding gesture or though, it is a task obtained by exceeding what is expected. When I think of this phrase I believe that it is based upon how one can go above and beyond. "Thinking outside of the box" is classified as the ability to challenge one's brain to gather more information or thoughts. This is a somewhat complex process based upon the subject.
The first thought that comes to mind is a math class. I say this because math is a complicated, step-by-step process that takes thought and information. For example, in my Pre-Calculus as well as my Algebra class I have learned that although a math equations seems impossible to solve, one has to think outside of the box and take the challenge being given. When one thinks beyond the information given, one has the ability to physically or mentally add details to better the idea. As a person who believes that a challenge is a huge helping process to help one learn from failure or success. Whether one believes that thinking outside of the box is a simple outstanding talk, this concludes what I believe the phrase "Thinking outside of the box" means.
