Thinking outside the box by Victoria - October 2018 Scholarship Essay

To me thinking outside the box means a lot of different things. "Thinking outside the box" ultimately means finding a unique way to solving a situation. Like figuring out a way to solve the puzzle. In so many situations you have to find a solution and sometimes those answers are not always crystal clear or right in your face. It involves searching and looking deeper for that solution. Which in the end might require you to think outside of the box. I know from personal experiences and from growing up I had to learn things the hard which required me to think outside of the box in order to get through a tough time. Figuring out how to cope with a tough situation or figure out how to solve an issue, and I've learned you have to maneuver your way through the tough times. You need to keep persuing and keep up you head up high. Plus you do not want to be stuck in the same box as everyone else. Like Dr. Seuss said "why fit in when you can stand out?" That to me is very true sometimes thinking outside of the box and being different makes coping with a solution a little less intense. That to me is another version of what thinking out of the box means. Being different, this wolr she's too much of the same. Why not think outside of the box? If everyone thought the same and thought inside the same box the world would not turn, there would be no diversity no room for disagreement in anything. Yet when someone thinks outside the box and decides to go left and not right like everyone else it creates room or change. Change is what makes the world turn. It opens the opportunity for discussion, in my open I rather think outside of the box and think differently.
