College students pay a surplus amount of money to explore and discover who they want to be when they finish college. Some students know exactly who they want to be and stick with that dream through their whole college experience. Other students may change their mind as they are opened to new opportunities. As a result, we become who we want to be. What if we were meant to have an experience even farther than we can ever think of to figure out who we are? I believe that every student should get that opportunity to study abroad to get to explore ourselves even further too thoroughly evaluate who we are and expanding our knowledge.
Studying abroad is like a whole new world for a student the culture would be different, distractions will be decreased but exploring is a must. When exploring a whole new environment people can get to learn more about themselves. They may like things they would have never experienced before without studying abroad. Not only will they get academic education, but personal education they needed to learn about themselves.
Studying abroad also will increase your knowledge of other countries. Every country is different and it is important to learn about what is happening in their country. These countries still live in our world and every country foils another country at some point. We are all linked and should have the knowledge of what’s happening in our world.
Overall, studying abroad will help us evaluate who we are and to expand our knowledge of the world. Many students would get a great experience and a great opportunity to find exactly who they want to be. Knowing more about the world can help the United States understand what we should change and how to improve situations or challenges.
