How Technology Has Impacted My Classroom Experience by Valerie - January 2020 Scholarship Essay

When I was younger, all we used was textbooks and paper. We did not have the advanced technology we have today. When I first got a computer to replace my books, I loved it. It made going from class to class so much easier. I still use a computer to this day. I believe this technology is a great help to the students. I am able to keep all of my information along with everything I need on my computer. This has helped me tremendously throughout my school years.
With the technology we have, we are able to do all kinds of things with it. I can store all of my papers on my computer and always have them there when I need them. I can pull up a paper that I have written years ago if I wanted too. We also use other technology in the classroom such as projectors. Projectors allow the teacher to show what is on their computer screen. That has helped me greatly in the note-taking field.
Without the technology we have today in the classroom, I believe that my skills would not be as strong as they are now. Technology has helped me make many accomplishments. If we did not have technology in the classroom I believe that I would have struggled in school.
