Better Education by Ubaldo - March 2018 Scholarship Essay

Learning at school has always been important. No matter what grade, learning is what advances our knowledge and makes and gets us prepared in school and our future. The only difference that separates all of us is our age and grade level. Highschoolers will be prepared and know how important learning is but telling it to a second grader is a whole other story.

Second graders don't really know the importance of school and just go because they are required to go. They are some ways we can teach the importance of learning to second graders but paying attention and following through will all be up to the second grader. Their are some possible ways we can do this. First making it a fun way to learn things.

Second graders are full of joy and energy. Teaching them a way that reflects their energy should help. Making sure we are able to teach them the importance of continuing learning but making it in a fun way. I feel like this a major step up and could be beneficial. We can also get parents to get involved.

Making sure parents are helping could also really be a step in the right direction. If we can get parents to take some time off their day and teach them the importance of school at homes will certainly help.

Second graders or any other grade is our future and helping them stay at school will help all of us. We all can help and but it's up to you to help make a change. Overall we can all help 2nd graders to continue their educations.
