The Underestimated Genius? by Tyrone - October 2017 Scholarship Essay

For the question of which president I caould have lunch with, I would like to have lunch with our newest president Donald Trump. Now, most people would call me crazy and ask why would I have lunch with one of the worst presidents we have ever had (public opinion). I have 2 reasons why.

The first would be because whether we like it or not he is our president. He represents until 2020 and we have to accept it even if we don't like it.

The second would be because he is different than other presidents in the past. He isn't what I pictured when I thought of The Leader of the Free World. However, that's what's makes him special in terms of presidents. I'm very curious about how he thinks and how a man like that deals with the power and stress of being the president.

Those are my reasons for choosing president Donald Trump to meet with if I had a chance. Despite how people see him and what they believe about him, he's a brilliant businessman and no one can question him on that. People often only look at the negatives when judging a person and never consider the positive points they have. In Trumps case, I say he is a bad representative of what we stand for as a country, but he is a genius when it come to business. He just might be the reason that our country's economy grows an flourishes, and no one sees or even considers the possibility. When looking at a person see the whole picture not just what you want to see.
