Home work is a pain, but there is much to gain by Tyler - July 2016 Scholarship Essay

A teacher I had in high school knew I was struggling and knew the reason why, I kept bombing the test again and again and I still refused to try something different. I was very stubborn when it came to home work because I felt it was not worth my time or the 5% percent of my grade. Eventually my teacher had me stay after and talk to him and a counselor and gave me some incentives to do my home work. After sometime of actually doing my home work, I started to notice some improvements. But just because I do the homework doesn't mean i"m always going to do awesome in the class, I have to study the homework as well. Home work isn't just about getting it done so you can get the grade for it, home work is mean mainly for practice to help you be successful on the test and quizzes.

In college home work and studying are crucial to your success because the professors are not gonna ride you to get your work done. In college the work load is gonna be greater so get into the habit earlier than later. It will make your life a lot easier when you go off to college. Doing your home and studying can only help you succeed.
