My name is Trinity Edwards and stand on the precipice of exciting academic explorations and vital career decisions. My time so far in the academic arena has been satisfying and fulfilling, an immersive journey, preparing me to bridge the gap between Social Sciences and Pharmacy, which form the pillars of my academic interests. However, the road to excellence is marred with challenges, and it takes a steady focus and a continuous source of motivation to meet and overcome these challenges.

My principal motivation is largely altruistic; it is centered around a clear vision of my future. I envision myself making significant contributions in the fields of pharmacy and speech pathology, using my knowledge and skills to help improve the lives of countless individuals. However, the path to get there requires diligent academic endeavors. The conscious understanding of the impact I can have on society gives me the strength to persist even when the academic road seems tough.

This vision constantly compels me to strive for excellence in academics, consequently leading me to secure good grades consistently throughout high school. My academic favorites have always been in the field of Social Sciences, and I aspire to amalgamate these to form the essence of my professional life. The aspiration is not to chase arbitrary achievements, but to construct an empathetic and effective practice to aid people in the realm of healthcare.

At times, however, motivation can waver, and focus can blur. Amid the complexity of balancing my diverse set of academic interests, there are moments when I find it challenging to maintain consistent motivation and focus. However, I am fortunate to have an incredible support system - my friends. They act as a constant source of positivity, inspiring me to see each challenge as an opportunity for growth. They share my aspirations, understand my struggles, and inject brightness into my seeming darkness, thus reinforcing my motivation when it falters.

Staying true to my passion and summoning determination even in adversity also forms a cornerstone of my focus and motivation. Pharmacy and speech pathology especially, present a unique opportunity to bridge my love for science with my desire to make a difference. This boils down to finding intrinsic motivation in my academic pursuits – a kind of motivation that is deeply intertwined with my sense of purpose and personal satisfaction.
