Sitting at my desk, I turn to look out at the sky line of Beijing. This is still one of the prettiest and most exciting cities that he had lived in. As I rise to walk to the floor to ceiling windows, I wonder how a little country boy from Georgia has made it here? Here I am in my dream job working in graphic design for a company I used to play games on when I was a child. I have gone from playing game to designing the characters in the games now. It all started when my mind went from "how can i bet this game to how can i make this game better?" While in high school, I worked hard to gain scholarships to college. While at Fort Valley State University, I worked had on y undergrad courses. The best decision I ever made was to transfer to the University of West Georgia to learn in their amazing humanities department my junior year. The humanities department brought out my creative side. I thought I wanted to design the game but I really wanted to design the characters. My first published logo sparked that passion in me. Upon getting my BA from UWG i worked for a local company doing designs. That led to free-lance work with a major foreign company. They gave me the opportunity to work in their overseas division. Now, fast-forward 5 years and I have set up a scholarship to help others the same way that scholarship have help me to achieve my dreams. Shaking my head, I walk back to my desk and sit down. Staring at me is my next character for the new gaming coming out. To think it all started with games and a dream.
