I am super grateful for my education. I am so lucky to have teachers that have cared for me throughout school. Most of my teachers have been so great to me, even when I didn’t put enough work into my assignments. They would always help me with whatever I needed. There have been times before when I would become lazy and slack off on my work but my teachers have always been there for me. I come from a decently sized school; there’s about two-thousand kids in my High School. It would always seem crazy to me when my teachers knew that I wasn’t giving one-hundred percent and they would come help me when they have tons of other kids to worry about.
My coaches are also what I am very thankful for. I grew a great bond with almost all of them and knew that they would always be there for me in the future. I loved how they always had such a passion for whatever sport they would coach. In my terms, coaches are teachers and different sports are like the subjects in school. Teachers will teach you something to gather knowledge about the subject. For example, in a math class the teacher will show you how to get the right answer. Coaches will coach you on how to play the sport the right way.
I always looked up to my teachers and coaches. I am thankful that they always have their foot on the pedal even when they stay up late to grade papers or watch film. Yes, I know that it’s their job but I love how they have found passion in it. They devote all of their time to try to help us kids get better and have a successful future. That’s what makes them true heroes.
