I think that one piece of advice I could give younger students now would be to stand together and stop the bullying. Whether you are the bully or being bullied, the situation is not a good one. Being bullied is like a disease eating away at you from the inside. It is one of the most terrifying things for anyone to go through. It causes slipping of grades, depression, and even suicide with some. I would also tell anyone that is being bullied to tell your parents. As a child of bullying, I did not say anything to my mother for two years and I now wished I had of told her. She was there for me and helped me through it all.

If you are the bully, I would tell you that this is something that will stay with you forever. People will always know you as “the bully”. The bully is actually a coward. I believe kids that are the bullies are being bullied themselves. Either by someone older than they are or from their home lives. A bully thinks it makes them look tough and cool, but in all honesty, it makes them look weak and sad.

I can only hope that this advice will help someone, whether, the bully or the person being bullied. One other piece of advice: Love one another as God has loved us.
