Music has always been my preferred way of learning; it transcends boundaries and creates an environment that is both engaging and immersive. While traditional educational methods often rely on textbooks and lectures, I've found that music captures knowledge in a way that resonates with me on a deeper level. I don't just listen to music, I can feel it and the lyrics and meaning of the song are stuck in my head for days. When I hear a melody or rhythm, it feels like an invitation to explore innovative ideas, cultures, and perspectives. One of the most impactful experiences I had was in the 4th grade, I was so frustrated while trying to remember all the states and their capitals for a test. My mom sang a song her old teacher sang for her class when they were learning all the states and their capitals and after listening to the song for 1 day, I knew all the information and passed my test. To this day whether I'm studying history or science, I find that setting facts to catchy tunes helps me keep information. The rhythm and rhyme create a mental hook that traditional rote learning simply cannot catch. I believe all schools should incorporate music into the learning environment because music makes people laugh and dance, it makes the learning process more enjoyable and more likely to be remembered. It also will create memories and strong relationships between the teacher and students because their bond will be different from other teachers who don't care to make the learning experience more enjoyable.

Outside the day-to-day high school curriculum, I'm pursuing my love for fashion and modeling by posting videos online of me creating day to day outfits to inspire others to love what they wear and to be confident in themselves. I have generated over 50 thousand views and hundreds of likes just from 1 video, I also began modeling for my cousin's small business and became the face of her brand. My passion turned into service: I was the stylist of my family and friends, dressing them for occasions like birthdays, weddings, concerts, church, dinners, or their daily life. I also donate my clothes through my church to give to those in need and I love seeing others feel confident wearing pieces I altered or designed. Fashion is a social superpower that blends movement, design, and architecture into one iconic outfit. Fashion and music are both art forms of cultural identity and influencing trends. I incorporate music in my fashion videos to enhance their musical personality. It also helps my audience to remember my outfits by their interrelationship with the song.

In conclusion my journey through music and fashion hasn't only shaped my identity but has also ignited a passion for creating moments of joy and connection. These passions interwoven with learning and service, I believe that when we embrace creativity in all its forms, whether through the beats of a song or the threads of an outfit, we foster an environment where everyone can thrive.
