Influencing the younger Generation by Tessa - April 2016 Scholarship Essay

Being the senior in high school we have gone through so many things growing up. With what I have learned I would love to teach the younger generations to not procrastinate. I have had the experience that is when you procrastinate you get very stressed out and it could affect your way of learning. Know matter how much you want to put off homework or studying to go to other events to hang out with your friends or family it is better off that you get it done right away. It is almost like a motivation if you get that done right away, you will feel a lot better afterwards because then you know you have your stuff done and you can now do the things you want to do. In school you can get in a lot of trouble for not doing your work and it will be even worse in college if you still have this bad habit.
Procrastinating in high school now could stick with you into college and even possibly into a job. Let me ask you this what would happen if you did not get a job done that you said you would especially if a was a big one? You would probably get fired or it may cost you a pay raise. The same thing would happen in college my parents told me that they knew someone who went to college and did not get his assignments done, he got kicked out, which does not look good on your resume. So know matter if you want to go out and hang with your friends, or even just relax and take a break this could affect your whole courier.
