Passion For Education by Tasha - July 2019 Scholarship Essay
This is where the fault of our youth falls in to play. There is no passion for education. We look at it as a chance to get out from our parents, and live our lives. WITHOUT PRIORITIES. We have taken it upon ourselves to dumb down the youth that is our tomorrow. Parents that are involved in scams to get their kids into a good party school. It is not going to help our future if your child has a degree in beer pong.
Today our society lacks passion for much of anything. Most of our children today hate school because they don't understand it. It moves too fast for them. That the chances of catching up are left to them. There is no help from others.
If we had passionate educators, I believe there would be more passionate students. We need teachers that take the time to make sure we understand before moving on. We need teachers who are not so absorbed in social media, that they forget that the class showed up 15 minutes ago.
So the response to this essay of Passion for Education, is to have passionate educators. This way our children of tomorrow can have a passion for education.
