Major in College by Tara - February 2013 Scholarship Essay

In college, I want to major in Wildlife Sciences, preferably with minors in something like Animal Behavior, Environmental Sciences, Wildlife Conservation or some other related degree.
I love doing anything and everything outdoors. I love doing anything with animals as well. With the experience I’ve had before with both wild and domesticated animals, I’ve come to love that field and anything that’s related to it. The thing that I want to do most would be in the world. I want especially to make a difference for wild animals, especially when the earth is dramatically changing. I want to help them where I can and try to conserve certain species in their habitats and areas if I can.
With this scholarship I would hope to be able to accomplish this, and if not in the world than in the United States. I hope to be able to help out where possible and maybe add something to the science and study of the animals around us.
