10 Years by Tanner - March 2025 Scholarship Essay

In ten years I see myself with a family and a house. I don’t know where I will be or how much money I’ll have, but I know I’ll have a family. I know that God has a plan for my life and I am trusting him to lead me in a way that fulfills his will. My education will help me achieve this because I will have a job and be able to pay for a family. I would love to help others in the psychological realm, in any way that I can. I hope to maybe have my own practice or work for someone who is a kind, loving boss because I would hate to be under a boss who is controlling and making my life miserable. I would like to live near my family and friends, and get together with them as often as we can. My dream is to have a big family, however, that would depend on how many kids my wife would like to have, so long as we can have kids. Animals are likely as well, as I grew up on a farm and would like to have farm animals as well as pets. Although I don’t have an exact plan for my life, I know that God does, so I don’t have to worry about anything.
