I want to go to college because I know that going will aid in me doing something great for this world. In the future, I would like to become a pediatric surgeon; and that requires hard work and possibly facing some obstacles. One of those obstacles can be considered the necessary time to be spent in college. However, that is not the only reason I want to go to college.

I would also like to go because of all the knowledge and experiences that I will be afforded if I do attend. It’s a milestone that will not only benefit my career but also the life choices made along the way. Going to college will allow me to eventually go to medical school, which will then lead to residency, and later becoming a doctor. From a personal standpoint, college is the first real step of being an adult for me. It’s the place where I must make decisions on my own and be away from my family who I relied upon for such a long period of time. Overall, college can be beneficial in many ways, but I want to go because of the career growth and cognitive growth that comes with it.
