Many students study abroad for college each year or take a summer off to study abroad. These students travel to different countries or coast out of America for a semester to study or participate in studying out of America. This type of studying can be very fun for children but as an adult, studying abroad is very dangerous to many college students.
When studying abroad it is very difficult to enter another county and know all the laws of that country. Getting a passport is the easy part of studying abroad but there are many dangers to studying abroad. Not every country is as clean as America and many diseases can be brought back into America if not careful of where each student is studying abroad. This type of studying can ruin someones future if catching a deathly illness that causes them to die or have medical issues for long periods of time. Depending on the type of travel the student is participating in , many issues can happen that are uncontrollable. The plane could crash or boat could sink. Studying abroad is also very expensive and it is difficult to communicate with the people that do not speak the same language as you. It is also very safe to stay in America because this is the country which you were born as a citizen to.
Studying abroad is also very different and placing yourself in a different culture can be very hard to get used to. Different cultures can also not understand you and there can be a lot of chaos and confusion when trying to communicate with groups of different ethnicity. Another thing to think about when studying abroad is that war could be happened in the country you choose to study in and not only are you risking your life, but America is usually a safe place as far as war. A war could take place and you could find yourself stuck in a different country with no way back to America. Studying abroad is very dangerous and expensive. These are the reasons that studying abroad is very harmful and many students should not participate in studying abroad. Although it sounds very interesting and fun to participate in, students should stay in the country where they are a citizen.
