Throughout my high school years, I have worked with determination and perseverance. Now on my senior year, I want to make the best out of my last few months of high school. It is also a great joy for my parents to see me, their eldest little baby, succeed from Pre-K to twelfth grade. I grew in a household where education was the key to become who I want to be as a professional. I know that with my will power I will make it to my goal. With the support of my family and my self-confidence, the one word that describes why I wish to attend college is pride.
Pride goes straight to the point of why I want to attend college. Throughout my high school years, there has always been little whispers in my ear saying that I can be successful if I just give my all. With the help of my family, I strive for greatness with their support and guidance. Also, it is my innate behavior that makes me keep going until I am pleased. I know that I will feel at ease and very satisfied when I graduate from high school. Knowing that I fulfilled my mission for the past four years gives me a wave of joy throughout my heart. If I can feel that emotion in a graduation, I will surely feel the sense of pride in myself for taking the next step and expanding my knowledge with information that I enjoy. The momentum of focus and determination will follow me. I want to attend college because I want to be professionally successful and rich in knowledge. Being filled with information that changes constantly because of new discoveries increases my desire to keep learning. Becoming successful gives opportunities and connections. Deep down in my heart, the achievements will give me great pleasure as I continue my life knowing that the pride inside of me started when I applied to my first college. The down moments are temporary, and it can be replaced with an optimistic mindset.
In summary, pride is the key point of success in why I want to attend college. My pride gives me a sense of hope and confidence that will lead me to my future. The support of my family pushes me to continue my education and become a professional. It is a pleasure to be able to complete one of the steps towards my goal. Also, my wish to be successful and intelligent will start once I sit down in the college lecture room and learn new information.
