My Future by Sophia - March 2025 Scholarship Essay

In the next ten years, I see myself finding a job as a pharmacist after the six to eight years of college I would have gotten through. I would then hopefully be able to start to make bigger payments on my student loans. If I do have a job by this time, I would hope that I am looking for a house or already paying off a house loan. Somewhere close to where I grew up, since most of my family is in the area. I’m a huge family person, so by this time, I hope that if I’m able to help out more with the family events, such as planning them or even hosting them.

I would also like to think that by this time I have found myself in a serious relationship since I wish to have a family in the future. One where we are both committed and haven’t rushed into things. Having both our lives semi figured out, can you truly ever have it all figured out? Another thing I plan to have is several saving accounts open, one for emergencies and another to save for future things that I will need to pay off. I hope that in the future I am organized and prepared for what might happen. I would also like to think that in 10 years I’m still going to church and helping out in the community. It is important not only to take care of yourself but those around you. If you have the means to help, then do so.
