I think one of my teachers who changed my way of learning for the rest of my life is Mrs Triono. She was my first College Credit Plus teacher, and the semester I took with her was public speaking. I was so nervous about this class since most of the other students in it had taken college courses before and knew what to expect. However, with the help of my teacher, I was able to feel comfortable in the class and excel.
I actually did so well in her class that she recommended that I take Intro to Lit with her next semester. Thanks to her I took my all-time favorite English class. I gained a love for more of the classics and have since read more of them outside of that class. It finally gave me the confidence that I could write 10 pages for a class with the help of making a plan to separate the workload into days and steps. Mrs. Triono introduced me to making outlines for my papers, which has also helped me in later classes like my college writing classes the next year and my history classes. I believe that I would have been lost without the help that Mrs Triono gave me.
