Peng Liyuan, a Chinese singer, once said, "A child's first teacher is its mother". I find this to be extremely true as part of a mother's job is to help you become the best you can be, which is partially taught. My mom, Erin Putnam, has been a huge motivator for me throughout my life, especially when it comes to my academics. Because of my mom's support I have reached many goals in life, such as numerous times on the honor role, National Honor Society, Key Club, and getting into The Career Academy. She always motivates me to do my best, no matter what it comes to. However, academics are very important to my family, especially my mom. She constantly encourages me to push myself. My mom helps me study, motivates me to get projects done, and always makes sure I am staying on top of my studies.
My mom inspires me everyday. She has worked so hard to get to where she is in life today. She loves her job, which she had to keep up academically and get through college to be where she is now. My mom works with children with special needs and helps them academically, physically, and emotionally. She has to push herself everyday to continue doing the best she can, yet she always has time to help me succeed.
