In the Future by Sierra - March 2025 Scholarship Essay

In ten years, I envision a life for myself that is full of success and everything I have worked hard to achieve. I see myself owning a nice house, car, and land, along with having a family. On this land, I will be breeding and selling horses. I will have my degree in equine rehabilitation, and I will work daily with injured horses, ideally racehorses. To get to this point, I have to put in the time and effort as I further my education in the fall.
My education will be a crucial part of making this vision a reality. My college education will be most important as it will give me all of the knowledge I need in the equine industry. I am going to Midway University, which is widely known in the equine world for the programs it offers. My high school education is also important in helping me achieve my goals as it has helped prepare me for college and has even enabled me to complete several college courses. Taking college classes in high school has helped set me ahead compared to the other incoming freshmen and will help make my work load lighter. My education is very important and a valuable asset in helping me achieve my goals.
