If I could have undivided time with any president of the United States I would choose Donald Trump. The reason I chose Mr. Trump is because he is the current president and is facing a lot of negative press and perception by U.S. citizens for various reasons. I would want to further understand why his position is so strong on certain topics such as immigration, taxes, trade agreements and healthcare.

Starting with immigration as a controversial topic - I would ask Mr. Trump why he believes this is one of the first priorities for him to tackle. The expense of the wall to separate Mexico is very expensive and I am not sure I understand the root cause he is attempting to address.

The next topic I would also about is healthcare. I would find out what specifically he believes is wrong with Obamacare and how he intends to correct it. It would be helpful to also understand his transition plan for people currently under the Obamacare plan.

Tax reform and trade agreements are the last areas I would probe for more information including an understanding of what is causing issues and risk today and what he believes needs to be done in the future.
One area for example that I heard about is that Mr. Trump is considering retirement tax reform and promoting Roth IRAs instead of pre-tax 401K plans for example. How would something of this magnitude change America?

I believe having an understanding of current issues in the country is important for my future and that is the reason why I would choose to have dinner with President Trump. Thank you
