The main reason for students to continue schooling in college is because of paving their pathway to the career that they strive for. Although I am going to college for that reasoning, I am also going for the experience that I cannot get anywhere else. The college experience that I will be most thankful for is the long lasting friendships that will be developed.
In college, students will be living with other students who are strangers for basically the first time of their lives. Due to the large amount of stress and the fact that a student is away from home and living independently from family is tough, so making friends in college is good for the individual’s mental health and can improve the individual’s social attitude. College comes with a large quantity of new adventures such as being involved in clubs, work opportunities, schooling overseas, sports games, festivals, and more. With those adventures, students can build up new relations with other students and faculty, even those that an individual never believed of being friends with. From experience, friends and relatives that I've talked to have said that their roommates in college are now their best friends, and that meeting new people in college is the best experience that they have been through. I believe that I will have a great experience in college meeting new friends and I am very much looking forward to the new adventures to come.
