Time-in, time-out by Sena - January 2022 Scholarship Essay

Recently I've learned that everything leads back to time. We use the time to keep track of how long things take to be completed. We also use the time to keep ourselves in check to make sure we don't use too much time. Time may not always be on my side, but it has played a part in my academic success.
Time Management is a skill that I use every day. I time how long I get to sleep at night through alarms and I time how long I have to get ready for school. Once I get to school, time continues. I have to get through classes within eight hours. I use my time for academics very well. During classes, I dedicate all the time to getting the assignments done. I may chat with my friends in between but I don't entirely lose focus. Even if I don't finish my work, I don't usually have a lot of work left unless it's a continuing project. During my study hall class at the end of the school day, I write down the assignments that are due soon. This way, I know how much time I have left to complete them. Once I do that, I start on some of those remaining assignments as early as I can. Through this method, I've been able to finish some assignments before I even leave school. At home, I put lots of time aside to do my homework and study for my tests. I stay in my room doing schoolwork as late as midnight. I'm always able to meet deadlines. I rarely turn in late work because I keep track of time.
Time management is a good skill to have. Using time efficiently has resulted in me having good grades and high test scores. I also use time management for things other than schoolwork and I've had great results with it as well. Time management is a skill that will lead you to success.
