In 25 Years by sarah - September 2018 Scholarship Essay

In 25 years, I can do a lot of things as well as learn a lot of things. However, I will not be done learning. I am super motivated in doing something valuable for our environment. The rapid climate increase, and plastic pollution has greatly effected our everyday lives.Each day I see trash on the floors at school and around town, I view plastic being waisted, and I witness chemicals polluting our atmosphere. These problems are not easy fixes. While everyday I do my part in helping our mother earth, I can always learn more and do more to help.
In 25 years I plan on being an Environmental Science teacher, helping our future learn about the damaged earth they were born into and ways they can help save our environment. While teaching my students I will continue to learn. I will learn from them. My learning will continue on. I will have gone through years of schooling and have done my own studies yet I still will not be able to know everything about this rapidly increasing issue.
In 25 years I will attend public meetings, learn from my students, and learn from the day to day life going on. My learning about the environmental problems will not stop once my schooling stops. This knowledge will just keep growing until we have successfully found a way to solve the issues we are facing. I hope to grow and flourish my brain with new information everyday, and thankfully being a teacher I will be able to learn so much everyday from my future students.
