My name is Samuel Long, and I am a freshman at the University of Mississippi. My journey into computer engineering is deeply rooted in my passion for technology and media creation, which has been nurtured throughout my upbringing in Jackson, Mississippi. From a young age, I found myself drawn to the world of technology, captivated by its potential to facilitate creativity and innovation.

One significant aspect of my journey is my involvement in media production, particularly through my YouTube channel and later through my own business, Samuel Long Productions LLC. Through creating various types of videos, from personal vlogs to highlight reels for local sports teams, I honed my skills in video editing and production. This experience not only allowed me to express my creativity but also taught me valuable technical skills in video production, including operating cameras and managing live broadcasts.

My interest in technology extended beyond media production to encompass a fascination with electronics, particularly Apple products. Teaching myself how to repair iPads and MacBooks during the COVID-19 pandemic was a pivotal moment that solidified my passion for understanding the intricacies of electronics.
