I am applying for the Varsity Tutors College Scholarship. I am a uprising Sophomore and majoring in Studio Art. The best book that I ever read in school was in my first year in college. It was called The Soul of Leadership: Unlocking Your Potential for Greatness by Deepak Chopra.        This was my favorite book because he talked about being a leader and he even had acronyms for being one. L was for look and listen, E was for Emotional Bonding A was for Awareness, D was for doing, E was for Empowerment, R was for Responsibilities, and S was for Synchronicity. When I read this book it had taken me to different aspects of my life, I became more and dept to who I was and who I were. Deepak Chopra book was basically about finding yourself and embrace in your most inner feeling thoughts. It really and truly starts with your soul. This book is my favorite because it shows what being a true leader and all of the concepts on being one. It also expresses on how to ACT SMART. S- Stretch, M- Measure, A- Agreement, R- Record, and T- Time. This book have everything that anybody needs to know who they are and whom they are dealing with. There are very many reasons why this is my favorite book, another reason is because the book gives out questionnaire about that particular sections. It’s not any right or wrong answers, it’s just on how you feel and what you believed in. This book is an all time favorite.
