I think perseverance has the biggest impact on education. Students would rather do something else than study for a test or do their homework. Especially when the work is tough, it’s best to push through. Those who push through and get the work done set themselves up for success in life. You realize that the legwork isn’t that much when you set aside time to just get it done.
I needed to work on my portfolio for a place in The College for Entertainment and the Arts at Lipscomb University. It was such a tough decision which art pieces to include and what to write for my essay. I put it off until the last day. Once I did it, it actually wasn’t as tough as I thought it would be and I was accepted into the program. All my hard work paid off and I can now study under some of the best animators in the business. This got me fired up to do better in my community college classes and I am working harder and my grades are coming up from a 3.0 to a 3.177 so far.
In conclusion, I believe perseverance is the best soft skill to have when it comes to you education and I believe those who do not preserve through the hard work do not do as well as they could.
