Education gives you a chance, an opportunity, to not only survive in this world but to thrive. Today in the world it is very difficult to succeed without a higher level of education, in fact most jobs require a graduate level of education. Professionals with a college education on average have the ability to make more money than their non educated counterparts. And even though money is not an equivalent to happiness, a stable income allows opportunity to pursue passions and people who have that can honestly say that they are living a happy life. Individuals who receive a college or vocational education are also less likely to become incarcerated criminals. An education from a university allows you to explore, find a passion, and a chance to make a difference and help others. Getting a higher level of education gives you a chance to work with others and create new friends and connections which is shown to lower depression. Those with a college education and a higher income are also usually health because they have access to health education and they are less likely to become obese. Education has so many benefits and it gives you a chance to live your life to its fullest potential.
