I feel that most of us agree 2021 was a crazy, hectic, and a downright confusing year. We had to deal with economic collapses, political tension, and even the removal of troops from a war. 2021 was not what people would consider a “normal” or “easy” year and we all had to adapt in some way.

For me the way that I adapted and learned to better myself is a built the drive to work hard. Weather this be through hard school assignment, the hard home life I had to endure for a bit, or even something as small as exercise or my job. I built this working hard attitude and it got me far. I watched people bull crap their way through things and fake their way through my workplace and I didn’t want to do that. So, I decided to work as hard as I could at work, and it really helped me. Within the first few months I was an acting manager and over a certain set of employees. Me and my friend ended up going very far with that and accomplishing a lot.

Working hard also helped me when I had to leave that job and get a higher paying one. Currently I am working at a family fun center, and I love it. I went into it with the attitude that I was going to work as hard as I could. This attitude helped me so much and it has already gotten me so far. I have already gotten 2 promotions. These promotions have motivated me to keep doing good and never give up and always work hard.

Although 2021 was a very weird and strange year I learned a lot and without all this craziness I would have never learned my work hard attitude. People tend to look at the bad or dark side of things but if you think about it 2021 helped a lot. It taught a lot of people new skills and helped a lot of people adapt and learn. Personally, I am very grateful for 2021.
