Over the years finding out what to do for the future has been an overwhelming question. Digging through things found to be good in the academic world and good jobs to look for is not an easy task. Seminar classes that have been required may have seemed boring at the time but they have helped open doors and opportunities to find out what we are meant to do for ourselves. Taking different personality tests, making an effort to research different careers, and just trying to find myself. These classes have given me the chance to find what I could fit most in which could help me in the future. We would have job shadows every year that were required which opened more doors for connections and gaining knowledge in that particular field and job that was shadowed. Being able to go through all the steps in researching and learning what could be my path will help me to be able to go out on my own to find the right career path. Seminar classes give me a reason to want to do more in academics so that I can understand further what is out there for me. As well as giving me a way to find out my true passions and what is beneficial to me.
