My teachers have been incredibly influential in my life. From my ASL teacher who treated me like a person, to my freshman basketball coach who showed me what hard work looks like, I have been blessed with amazing teachers who have shaped me into the person I am today.
My ASL teacher was the first teacher who truly made me feel like I was a person. She was patient and kind, and she always made sure to take the time to get to know me and my classmates. She was always willing to answer questions and help us understand the material. She was also incredibly encouraging, and she always made sure to remind us that we were capable of anything we set our minds to. She was the first teacher who made me feel like I was capable of achieving my goals, and I will always be grateful for her.
My freshman basketball coach was also incredibly influential in my life. He was a tough coach, but he was also incredibly fair. He pushed us to work hard and to never give up, no matter how difficult the task. He taught us the importance of teamwork and dedication, and he showed us that hard work pays off. He was also incredibly encouraging, and he always made sure to remind us that we were capable of anything we set our minds to. He was the first teacher who showed me what hard work looks like, and I will always be grateful for him.
