Tings I hope to see in education over the next 10 years by Roshin - July 2022 Scholarship Essay

For starters, at the beginning of 2022, congress at the United States White House was going to pass a bill that was aimed at offering free community college. If you wanted to go enroll and register for classes at any community college in the U.S.A you would be able to do so for free.

That bill would have made a huge impact on all community colleges all around the United States of America. Heck! It probably would have changed things all around the world. Teenagers and adults would have gotten up of their coaches or their little rocking chairs and enrolled in college just because there was going to be no more tuition fees. All community colleges were now offered for free.

I am currently enrolled in community college, and I had my fingers crossed the whole time hoping they would pass that bill so I could start saving money and stop paying for my college tuition but in the end, they dropped that bill. Who knows, maybe in the next 10 years congress will try to pass that law again and maybe this time around it will pass.

Over the next 10 years I would really like to see education offered for free to children, teenagers, and adults who actually want to learn something. It makes no sense why someone should have to pay for getting an education. If they are willing to get up and put the time in, unlike other people, then why should they have to take money out of their pocket and put it into God knows whose pockets.
