A Broad Expirence by Rosa - November 2017 Scholarship Essay

If I could study abroad, I would go to South Korea or Japan. Why those two placed one may ask, well, I would want to go to school there because it goes hand in hand with my interests and major/minor.
I would love to become an animator to create my own story's about life of a teenager, or issues that teenagers go through maybe even adults as well, or a teacher to teach them English. It would make sense to go to Japan because they are like the all mighty animator gods and I will learn so much from them.
Going to Japan would improve my art skills that I myself have been working on for quiet a while. I have noticed that there were short films released of the LGBTQ+ rights and the struggles of being in the community. I would like to expand on the teenage struggles of not being accepted into society as well of having so many expectations to follow and honestly that is extremely stressful. I just would love to help people doing things that I love.
I would want to be a teacher in those places because I've always wanted to learn the language. First, I would have to learn their language first. Teaching other people another would an amazing experience for me because I wish I had a teacher to teach me another language other than Spanish because people already know how to speak Spanish here in America.
These are the main two reasons why I would love to study abroad because I would learn their cultural language but as well, the culture, style, traditions and how a place is different other than the U.S. and Mexico
