An elective class that has impacted my education is my psychology class. This class has helped me understand myself, in more depth, making it easier to identify the ways that I can learn the easiest and the most effectively. In this class we were taught a different way to keep up with our classes. Such as having a different studying method that may take more time but is vastly more effective in the long run. This class has also helped me realize the type of college degree I want, as well as other future plans for joining the workforce.
By taking this class it has made me realize that Psychology is something that I truly enjoy learning about. To take that knowledge to an entirely different level is something that I can only dream for, at this moment in my life. I want to get a masters degree in this subject because there of multiple reasons, mainly two: getting a masters in this subject will get me a more indepth knowledge and it will help me get into a higher paying job.
This class has helped me more than I ever thought it would. It has helped me with progressing with my studies in school, due to the fact that it has helped me understand who I truly am. It has also helped me realize that teaching was not the thing that I wanted to do. It as helped me believe in myself and stop myself from doing something that I might have regretted for the rest of my life.
