My favorite non-traditional way of learning would be playing games that use information that I need to learn and help me test myself on how knowledgeable I am on that subject. For example, Kahoot is a great way to learn new things because it not only is customizable in what information can be created, but it also brings a competitive aspect to learning due to the fact that it's a points game in which you can go up against your family, friends, and classmates. A game that is able to make me want to learn more about a certain topic or area of study is a game that I will be willing to invest time in and overall, I will end up benefiting tremendously from doing so. There are also many other types of games that help the learning process become more enjoyable like memorizing games that test how fast you can comprehend information. One of the best things about using games to learn is that you can be as creative as you want and create any type of game that you want, at the end of the day as long as it is helping you gain and retain the information that you're learning then it doesn’t really matter.
