Throughout my life, I have read many enjoyable books. Whether books be fiction, non-fiction, etc, I love books. During quarantine, I read a book that has forever changed my life. Not only my life but my character and who I am.
This Is Where It Ends by Marieke Nijkamp impacted my life greatly. I have never imagined what experiencing a school shooting would be like. From the details and explanations that Nijkamp provided in this book, I was able to picture the situation those kids were in. This book in a life-changing book because many may never experience a situation as Nijkamp described in her book.
I chose this book as the best book I have read in 2020 because it was a very saddening book. This book touched my heart like no other book has been capable to do. It is extremely important for others to know what some people experience in their lives. Not every human life is as easy as others and Americans can realize that from this book. Overall, I recommend this book because it is very inspiring and can make humans think differently about the life they live. I definitely enjoyed this book and encourage others to take the time to read it as well.
