Worksite Learning by Richard - September 2017 Scholarship Essay
Through worksite learning I have learned a great deal of things. I began doing Worksite Learning in two thousand fifteen. Rather than being a class the only qualification to earn credits through Worksite Learning is a pay stub. What Worksite Learning does is calculates credits for hours worked at your part-time job throughout the school year. When bringing in my pay stubs something my then mentor in two thousand fifteen told me was to keep every pay stub and Worksite Learning helped me keep track of pay stubs even better.
I was able to accumulate nearly one full high school credit through Worksite Learning. After graduating high school, I went on to college after earning a total of twenty-six high school credits. Which is three credits over the graduation requirement for the state of Washington. Most of my extra credits counted towards graduation was not only from Worksite Learning, but other classes such as Intro to Internship. Worksite Learning in conjunction with Intro to Internship has taught me a great deal about succeeding in the workplace.
Now, in two thousand seventeen I still have records of every single paycheck that I have received compiled within a binder that is labeled as my financial portfolio.
