Passion of Education by Rhiannon - July 2019 Scholarship Essay

"Passion for education" can be interpreted in dozens of ways but one way specifically stands out to me, helping others. When someone is excited for education, I see it as an eventual opportunity for them to help others receive the same love of knowledge they have. Having this knowledge can expand and develop new theories and ideas too.
There are people in this world, not just school teachers, who love to teach others so much that they use it in their everyday life. In a way, parents even have a passion for preparing their son or daughter for thriving in the world. They teach their child about concepts when the child is young and even too when their son or daughter is an adult. Everyone at some point gives knowledge to someone, even if they do not realize it.
I also see a passion for education as pursuing what you want and think you will enjoy in life. Young adults to college, the trades, or military because they feel that that is the place to get them to a place they will enjoy. When the students or trainees are in these programs, they have enough passion to learn about something that they are dedicating their life, through education, to pursue what they felt called to do.
In conclusion, everyone teaches everyone whether we know it or not and education will bring us to a future we may enjoy.
