Technology has been a constantly discussed topic regarding our education and social lives. At my school, technology has very much had an impact on me and my fellow students. From computers to phones, it can influence everyone that uses it in different ways. The positive effects, for example, are far and wide. Many of these have been observed in my own classrooms.
One of the impacts of technology, or specifically, computers, is the increased efficiency. With online browsers, documents, and email, students these days find it easy to access all the information they need in order to be successful in school. Along with the ability to type essays, edit them, and conveniently share them with teachers, this kind of technology has improved and modernized our classrooms extensively. I find it so much easier to access assignments and due dates online, especially when I have to miss school and need to work from home. Along with helping me and my classmates, technology also has had a positive impact on the teachers at my school.
Not only do teachers have their own computers for creating assignments and sharing them with their students, our school has also given them access to an online platform, which they can use in order to provide other helpful materials to further our understanding of the curriculum.
These benefits, along with the reduced need to use paper, folders, notebooks, and pencils, prove that technology has helped our modern-day students succeed in our modern-day world.
