One advance in technology that I believe will be an integral part of education in the year 2038 is the use of virtual reality. as it shows in the study by Grant Wiggins in the Huffington Post, students get bored within the classroom and teachers need to constantly either them up or separate them from the rest(Wiggins, Grant. “Attention, Teachers! This means that students are losing a lot of time from their mind just wondering off into “la-la-land”, this could also be hurting a teacher’s performance levels if there are new and have little experience on entertaining teens. To sum up my thoughts I will state that if students had something closer to their time period grades could improve. Thus such evidence leads me to believe that students would benefit from the introduction of modern technology into their daily classrooms. The fact that most students agree with such policies is not the main reason, but the fact that it benefits our teachers. Most teachers say that reforming our traditional ways of teaching almost always work. I choose the virtual reality because it is a part of technology which has become inexpensive due to the addition of phones working as the display screen, it would be fairly inexpensive to equip students with these, and teachers could gain tools such as Google earth and national geographic 360 to teach students of our world. These tools also help kids get a good connection to the world and its magnitude. Field trips and multi-cultural experiences would be more accessible. That is why I believe that virtual reality could be an advance in technology that I believe will be an integral part of education in the year 2038.
