I always wondered what my life would be like after my high school graduation. Since my high school educational journey commenced, I have learned that one must start off small in any aspect of life and then gradually work ones way up in order to be truly successful. In my education I have steered my way into the fashion industry and have delighted in it. Through my sewing classes I have been exposed to skills that are expected in the fashion industry. In my art classes I have felt the inspirations of what art possess in the fashion industry. With the knowledge that I have, and determination for success as well as my fascination of art and how it is distributed, I truly believe that my future will be very bright through attending my dream college Meredith College.
Once I learned of what Meredith College had to offer and the treasures it holds, from the hands on training to the career oriented focus, I knew that I would be molded into a successful fashion entrepreneur. From the fast pace environment at Meredith college, in recognition of the real world, I believe that through hard work and determination all of my goals can be achieved and ultimately my life will be a success.
It is my belief that in attending college at Meredith my life will be altered completely. College is generally the first experience to where a person generally learns to live on his or her own. In living on my own I know that at times I will come in contact with life’s complications but I believe that I will be able to learn how to maneuver through the obstacles and overcome them. I come from a strong family background so learning how to strive and survive through hard times shouldn’t be too difficult for me. Being that I have lived a sheltered life, to where my family is always with me, in my attendance at Meredith College I will be put into a new ordeal in which I will have to let go of my fears and become more social and lively, ultimately allowing me to accumulate a new kind of family, while working to assure my career as a fashion designer.
My career goal has always been to manage and design my own fashion line and I know I can attain this by starting off small and by climbing my way up through the years. I will achieve this goal by attending all of my classes on time and prepared as I have been instructed since the beginning of my early educational inclinations. After graduating from Meredith College I plan to seek out employment at a small but pertinent fashion boutique or department, where I’ll be able to experience the day to day life of the fashion industry. I believe that in starting off small I will be able to indulge in the handicraft of the fashion industry thus, learning the ins and outs of the trade. After learning the magnitude of what I can from that section of my life I plan to venture out into the world and begin my own fashion business and my own fashion label. In starting my own business I’ll be able to aid in the economic flourish of the U.S.A. by providing jobs.
