Nights of Accomplishments by Preston - January 2019 Scholarship Essay
Up at six, down at eleven; that's usually how it works for me. Work is a lot harder for me to complete in the morning because I have to fully wake up and realize my goals throughout the morning. As the day continues I am able to process more information, and keep up with the amount needed to be used that night. Night works best for me, always.
I arrive home from school around six every night because of work and errands in between the end of school and my arrival at home. By then I have fully recognized the amount of work needed to be done to stay on track or ahead of the curve. The Dual Enrollment program always manages to keep my on my toes because of the workload from each class, or the amount of time I need to put aside to study new information to put to use. I am able to get most, if not all, of the work needed before it is due. My productivity level increases ten fold between morning and night.
I am always able to complete more work at night, so I consider myself a night owl. I have all of the new knowledge from the day still fresh on my mind, so I can complete the homework and still have time to spare. Homework usually takes between two and four hours to complete, but this is not a problem because I can choose, and almost always do, to stay awake until the completion of the work needed. This gives me free time maybe two or three times a week, but I love to read, so this time usually goes to goes towards reading.
