New Year, New me? by Philip - January 2016 Scholarship Essay

2015 was a year for the ages. That is saying the least. Started off fast, and only sped up. My goal in 2016 is to stop and smell the roses. I want to figure out what is truly important to me in this world and how I plan to do that is by stopping; and breathing. I've watched loved ones pass on and friends move away. That is all part of life I feel like. People will always be entering and leaving your little world. In the upcoming year, I want to maximize any relationship I have. My goal is to learn something relatable from everyone. Ill repeat it for emphasis. Stop and smell the roses. Quick read it again.
