Counting for Life by Patricia - July 2019 Scholarship Essay
Having a passion for education means growing, learning, and sharing, especially in the accounting world. Education is important to me because I want to be able to use my knowledge to make the company that I will be working for better. Showing future employers how I can improve their business and be an asset to them will help me stand out from others. I am willing to learn and open to new ideas and teachings to help me become a better and smarter individual. Studying accounting has its ups and down, but having a passion to stick with it and work with professors to expand my knowledge and get a better understanding of the subject will assist me down the road.
Everyone learns something knew everyday and having a desire to learn will help people become smarter. Every person in the world is a student in one way or another. Students are learning from their teachers and in return teachers also learn some things from their students. For example, my accounting professor teaches us the basics of accounting and what we need to know before entering the real world. We, in return, help the professor use new technology and keep him up to date. Nobody stops learning and growing and having a passion for education allows people to share the information they know with others. My passion for education has expanded my knowledge, taught me many usefully skills, and helped me give back to my community by sharing what I know with them. I love learning new things and am excited to see what I will learn in the future.
