As a film major at the University of Florida, I am equipped with a unique set of skills and knowledge that enables me to contribute significantly to society through the powerful medium of film. Having already created documentaries on social security, union labor laws, and freedom of speech in schools, I have been able to garner national attention through the medium of film, even being able to speak with the Supreme Court about the problems plaguing our country. The University of Florida's comprehensive film program provides me with a solid foundation in both the technical and creative aspects of filmmaking, ensuring that I can effectively convey the narratives that need to be heard.
